Meet Stefan Swanepoel

Stefan Swanepoel is widely recognized as the leading visionary on trends and change in the real estate industry, and is the most recent author of the 2006/7 Swanepoel TRENDS Report. He has penned 13 books, whitepapers and industry reports, including the Amazon.com bestseller, Real Estate confronts Reality (1998) and the sequel Real Estate confronts the Future (2004).

Before making California his home, Swanepoel lived on three continents and developed a broad international business background, serving as the president or senior executive of various types of businesses, including a bank, construction company, property developer, appraisal firm, national franchise, software company, multi-listing service, real estate brokerage, publishing company and real estate association. Today he serves as CEO of the RealtyU® Group, the largest career development company in the real estate industry.

Swanepoel has also received numerous awards, including: “Businessman of the Year” by the Jaycees and “Best Idea in Real Estate” from the Great Ideas Conference.
